Resizing Disk

For Amazon EC2:

• https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/recognize-expanded-volume-linux.html
• After attach the ebs, ssh into the box and run lsblk to figure the device path the format is /dev/xvd-something
• Then do sudo mkfs -ext4 /dev/...
• You might want to configure the fstab so that the drive is auto mounted when the server restarts
• Done. Had to run 2 commands.
  • sudo growpart /dev/nvme0n1 1
  • sudo resize2fs /dev/nvme01n1p1
