Feature Request: Add support for generating tables

Using Toree with Jupyter, there is no easy way to generate tables from dataframes. It would be nice to be able to use a single dsl (and single plugin!) for generating tables in addition to charts.

Tables can be very complex. To restrict this to just simple 2D tables some new features are needed. For example:

• Gridlines
• Axes on opposite side
• Multi-line labels
• Styles for cell tables (tagging cells so they can be styled. odd/even at least which would allow row 'bands')

It is likely a number of the above will be done for 2.0--but it'd be great to hear if others are interested in simple tables.

My team would love to have simple tables. My development team is writing scala notebooks and many times just want to print a simple table in a notebook. Compared to what Pandas can provided for simple tables within iPython notebooks, we really don't have an simple equivalent type of 2D table rendering available within our Scala notebooks using Brunel.

We see this as an active need and will work on it, not for the 2.0 release, but as a high priority immediately afterwards
