• facf975: Keep the todo readout in step with the work. The readout showed the list exactly as the model last wrote it, and the model often stopped writing: one session pinned an item it had finished 213 tool calls and two compactions earlier. When an agent makes 20 tool calls with an open todo list unchanged, or a compaction drops the list from its context, codsh now shows the model its list again after a tool result and asks it to bring the list up to date. The reminder is context for the model, never a transcript row, and holds while plan mode is on. CODSH_TODO_REMINDER=<calls> changes the count for one launch; off turns it off.

• 5d1ae74: Settings and view commands take effect at once while the agent works instead of waiting in the queue: /theme, /ui, /model, /thinking, /effort, /permission, bare /plan and /plan off, /status, /todos, /subagents, /jump, /copy, /view, /diff, and /help. A model or thinking switch made mid-turn applies from the running turn's next step. Commands that start a turn or swap the session (/init, /ship, custom commands, /compact, /goal, /plan <message>, /clear, /resume, /rewind, /update, /exit) still queue. Ctrl-C while such a command's picker is open closes the picker and leaves the turn running. A command of a kind already queued waits behind it so the order typed holds, a queued / line says it will run when the turn ends, and /plan off is accepted in any case.
