I had a lot of thoughts regarding this topic. The issue is true, but we won’t release this, as a lot of people uses this plugin on production for a few years. The identifiers are stored in cookies, databases, ERPs perhaps. So fixing the issue would potentially broke a lot of projects. I know I approved this lately, but finally can't risk breaking production environments. |
