Waggle Dance

The Waggle Dance Detector (WDD) system processes video files or live camera streams to detect and record honeybee waggle dances, saving results as images and metadata. The software needs at least 60FPS cameras (low resolution is fine).

The WDD can optionally use a neural network to improve precision (and detect some other vibratory behaviors). The code to train and apply the network is here:
The wdd filter needs a trained model. Here are several:
