[Regression]: Dependency on package_info_plus 8.0.0

No dependency on package_info_plus

Current behavior

This new dependency breaks all app that depend on package_info_plus 9.0.0

Steps to reproduce

create and app with dependency package_info_plus ^9.0.0
add package 14.0.2
dart pub get

+1 this, if we cannot resolve this we should look for alternative plugins, the hard dep is holding us back from other library changes

Had the same issue. I fixed it by reverting to version 14.0.1 which does not contain the transitive geolocator_linux dependency.
If you do not need to support linux platform this should be fine, as the only other change for that version was in Readme (see Changelog).

Facing the same issue:

Because no versions of geolocator match >14.0.2 <15.0.0 and geolocator 14.0.2 depends on geolocator_linux ^0.2.3, geolocator ^14.0.2 requires geolocator_linux ^0.2.3.
Because geolocator_linux 0.2.3 depends on package_info_plus ^8.0.0 and no versions of geolocator_linux match >0.2.3 <0.3.0, geolocator_linux ^0.2.3 requires package_info_plus ^8.0.0.
Thus, geolocator ^14.0.2 requires package_info_plus ^8.0.0.

Actually, I don't need to support Linux and now I update package_info_plus to 9.0.0 and get the error above.
