Summary

Applies the Codex cross-model prioritization (.reviews/roadmap-prio-codex.md, 2026-05-24) to the ROADMAP. Net: smaller backlog, sibling repos own their work, a gate that stops "NO for now" from accumulating as permanent cognitive debt.

What changed

• New Demand-Signal-First entry gate at top of ROADMAP. New items require one of: maintainer pain event with repro, second external user signal, dated platform deadline, or low-cost cleanup. Everything else goes to a Research Parking Lot with 30/60-day expiry. Row states: Actionable now / Waiting on trigger / Tracked elsewhere / DONE / KILLED.

Why now

Maintainer asked for prioritization. Cross-model review (Codex gpt-5.5 xhigh) flagged that the current backlog accumulates "deferred" items into permanent cognitive load — every session re-litigates the same stale items. Cleaning + adding a gate prevents the next session from doing the same triage work.
