#Overview This repository contains a CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) application built using Core Java, Spring Boot, RestAPI, JPA, and MySQL. The application allows you to perform basic operations on data related to a fictional cloud vendor.
Create, Read, Update, and Delete operations for cloud vendor data. Utilizes Spring Boot for building robust RESTful APIs. Integrates with a MySQL database using Java Persistence API (JPA) for data storage. Utilizes Maven for project management and dependency resolution. Includes Postman for testing API endpoints. Developed using Intellij IDEA as the primary IDE. Setup #To run this CRUD application locally, follow these steps:
bash Copy code git clone https://github.com/Balachander283/Cloud-Vendor-.git Open the project in Intellij IDEA or your preferred Java IDE.
Configure the MySQL database connection in src/main/resources/application.properties. You will need to specify your MySQL database URL, username, and password.
bash Copy code mvn clean install Run the application:
bash Copy code mvn spring-boot:run The application will start, and you can access the API endpoints for CRUD operations.
Here are the API endpoints available in this CRUD application:
GET /vendors: Retrieve a list of all cloud vendors. GET /vendors/{id}: Retrieve details of a specific cloud vendor by ID. POST /vendors: Create a new cloud vendor. PUT /vendors/{id}: Update an existing cloud vendor by ID. DELETE /vendors/{id}: Delete a cloud vendor by ID. Testing with Postman You can use Postman to test the API endpoints:
Import the Postman collection located in the postman directory of this repository.
Update the base URL in Postman to match your local environment or deployment URL.
Use the collection to make requests to the API endpoints and test the CRUD operations.
