@ivanthelad in the context of using Spring, which specific library are you using? Is it the azure-cosmos or azure-spring-data-cosmos?

@saragluna team is using: com.azure:azure-identity:1.15.3 and com.azure:azure-cosmos:4.68.0. we are setting the properties: spring.cloud.azure.cosmos.credential.managed-identity-enabled=true and spring.cloud.azure.cosmos.credential.client-id=${COSMOSDB_MANAGED_IDENTITY_CLIENT_ID}.

The spring.cloud.azure.xxx properties will be able to function if and only if a spring-cloud-azure-starter-x is on the classpath.
