It has had a deprecation warning for 3 months.
Time to remove.

you can also delete all related file entries in the VS projects

The .pyproj file will automatically fix itself when someone who has VS opens the project right?

No. It is a manual step, but don't worry about it if you don't have VS installed. Pretty easy for me to update it once I pull down your change

Yeah I don't have a VS setup currently so that'd be much appreciated.
