Introduce a delay, so I can sync MDB metadata with video

How can I introduce a one-second delay to the video stream? Since we use MDB and the metadata experiences a delay of about 0.5 to 1 second, I need to delay the video stream accordingly, like on axis meta data visualizer (camera webui).
