Dank bar widget settings (compact. large, etc) reset between reboots [update: resetting is not between reboots but seemingly at random while using PC]

Description

If, through the settings GUI, I set the media player to non-default settings like 'large' and 'largest',, these settings reset to their default values after I reboot.

EDIT: See below comment: setting does not reset at reboot but seemigly at random while PC is in use.

Expected Behavior

I'd expect settings to keep consistent.

Steps to Reproduce & Installation Method

In the settings menu, under 'Dank Bar' - widgets - change the size of the media player widget from default to 'large' or 'larger'.

Restart PC.

Widget has now reverted to default values.

edit: see below comment. Setting reverts to default randomly during PC use.

Tried it an additional time and it's now working and the bug hasn't happened. So I don't know what caused this before. Could it be tied to system updates? I'll keep an eye on it and see if I can catch when/if it happens again.

I just looked up at my dank bar, and it's collapsed back to it's default size all on its own at some point in the past hour. No reboot or system update or anything. I've just been sat here working at my PC. Just checked in the dank settings app and it was set to 'medium' in there too, despite me having manually set it to the extra large option an hour ago. Could it be the media player itself that's causing it? I'm using Spotify for music, if that helps at all.
