[Bug]: Parcel - Linux - Does not set executable file permissions for the user #14

Description

@kkmserver

Describe the bug

Parcel:

If I build DEB and RPM packages on Windows, after installing these packages on Linux:

  • Doesn't set executable file permissions for the user, preventing the user from running the application.
  • Doesn't grant modify permissions for other project files, preventing the application from changing and saving its settings.
  • At some point, the application icon stopped registering.
  • The application doesn't appear in the "Programs" section - it's nowhere to be seen - the user doesn't know how to launch it (they can only do so if they know the installation path).

This is a critical error for me.
Thank you.
