Performance profiler fails to load if there are different instances/broken links in the DB

Context and steps to reproduce

The Performance tab doesn't seem to be loading for one of my test sites. I get an error that says, "Results not available An error occurred while testing your site. Try running the test again or contact support if the error persists." The button on that page doesn't seem to do anything when clicked.

Looking at this now.

I managed to fix the site from this example by running a search replace and update the localhost instance found with the correct domain.

For context, the site was migrated from a Studio instance. cc @wojtekn

"Reverse-engineering" this bit, I run a search-replace on my WoA site and once done, the Performance profiler showed the same error.

I'm unable to find the equivalent issue in the main repo, so I'm flagging this for @Automattic/quake for further debugging.
