Details

We currently register an endpoint in the ETK Welcome Tour to control the tour visibility/open status. I believe this is used for reopening the Welcome Tour after a set time. This is something we need to abstract from the wp/data store, hence aiding to extract Tour Kit implementations into a standalone package (we plan on having an NPM package "wpcom-tours" with the various tour configurations).
