Changing deposit account while deposits are in transit produces missing bank details #7006

Open

Description

Describe the bug

If a bank account is changed while deposits are in transit, the resulting deposits will show •••• (AUD) instead of the bank name and the last four digits of the account number (e.g., Super Cool Bank Name •••• 1234 (AUD)) at Payments > Deposits.

To Reproduce

I haven't reproduced yet, but here is how I think it goes:

  1. Purchase products.
  2. Wait a few days for a deposit to initiate.
  3. Check Payments > Deposits and see that the bank name and last four digits are shown.
  4. Update the bank on file before the deposit is paid.
  5. The bank name and last four digits won't show (probably).
  6. Repeat steps 1–3.
  7. Deposits for the new bank will display the information as expected.

Actual behavior

Payments > Deposits doesn't display old bank details if the bank account is changed while finds are in transit.

Expected behavior

Bank details should be reflected as expected, even if the deposit account is changed while funds are in transit.
