Modpack version

RAM Allocated
2-8 GB dedicated, 16 GB on PC
Description
Using JourneyMap, I TPed into a chunk (that I had already visited) and was one or two chunks away from an unloaded chunk. This caused a game crash with biomesoplenty.
After rejoining from the game crash, I was at the spot before I TPed
When did the crash happen?
When TPing using JourneyMap's Right Click > Teleport feature to teleport in game.
From testing, the crash does not appear to be consistent, with only 2 of 25 attempts (excluding the first) actually resulting in a game crash. This makes it very difficult to find why exactly this causes a crash.
Steps to reproduce
- Get into a world and run ~500 blocks in some direction
- TP somewhere on the edge of where JourneyMap displays explored areas
- Game crashes occasionally. If a game crash doesn't occur, then TPing elsewhere might.
Minecraft crash report
Original game crash:
crash-2025-01-01_19.00.16-server.txt
I don't have access to crash logs from my tests
Additional context
I think this also resulted in a dupe of items in my Backpack. I took some items from my Backpack (that was on my back) into my inventory and, after rejoining from the game crash, the items were in both my Backpack and inventory.
