Error making request to Reddit

Was hoping this was a temporary issue but it's been happening for weeks now:

Using Edge in case that's relevant. I've authenticated, allowed 3rd party cookies and disabled enhanced tracking protection on photon-reddit.com.

Unfortunately not much I can do. Seems like some took the public reddit API token and is using up all the available requests within a few seconds. Now:

• Either have to be a moderator to get your own API contingent. You can make your own sub or easily join one like r/modlimit
• Or you need your own API token, but recently reddit stopped allowing people to create their own tokens. So that's not possible anymore, unless you've created one in the past that still works
