Create IED Module

The Create IED module has to be placed upon either on any kind of object as long as it is not occupied by a player. You can also place the module upon a vehicle that is occupied by AI and create a vehicle-borne IED.

Settings Explanation

Explosion Size - Explosion size will be ignored by other than Deadly and Disabling Explosion Effects. The size won't change for something like fake and none.

Can be Disarmed - If selected to yes then there is a disarm action on the object. If the Curator has ACE 3 Explosives loaded then an ACE 3 Defusal kit is required to show the disarming action.

Disarm Time - If can be disarmed is set to yes then you can set the disarm action length.

Activation Type:

  • Manual (IED will only detonate if on the object you press End or the object is destroyed);
  • Proximity (will detonate if the activation side matches and the unit is in the set activation distance and if the unit's speed is over slow prone movement);
  • Radio (Same as Proximity but doesn't care about the unit's speed).

Is Jammable - If set to yes then the IED can be jammed if a vehicle has been equipped with an IED jammer. As a bonus, there is a very very tiny chance that the IED will detonate if the IED jammer equipped vehicle is nearby.

The Is Jammable option goes in hand with Equip vehicle with IED jammer module. This allows the vehicle which is equipped with it to drive past the IED and the IED will not detonate.
