[SDL1.2] Merge in changes from libSDL12 version #20
Description
As it stands right now, each platform has their own codebase of the SDL-1.2 library.
AmigaOS4 SDL-1.2 is already merged, and AmigaOS3 is next up! The repo with the code needing to be merged is: https://github.com/AmigaPorts/libSDL12
It's a huge task with a lot of manual labour, testing and benchmarking. Anyone up for the task? Feel free to do so. The SDL-1.2 codebase is in the SDL-1.2 branch of this repo.
