Intro

This package contains a WIP runner for Devfiles.

It takes as input a Devfile, converts it to a Compose project and executes it using a Docker daemon. The binary can be used as a Docker CLI plugin.

Building

Requires at least go 1.16 because of transitive dependencies (e.g. Docker libraries)

go build -ldflags="-s -w" -o docker-devenv main.go

Running

./devrunner --help

Testing

go test ./...

Installing as a Docker CLI plugin

mkdir -p ~/.docker/cli-plugins
cp docker-devenv ~/.docker/cli-plugins
