Weird issue with tokens being shared across actors

Describe the bug
For some reason if i set the token to be used as a "quick swap" (right click on the token) it shows in all actors as a GM, for players this doesnt happen.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Enable a token for quick swapping
2. Go to another actor
3. Check the "swap token icon"
   4.The actor will have all the shared tokens in it even when it was set on a different actor.

Expected behavior
Each actor show their own tokens

Additional context
Players only see their shared tokens, also for some reason the one thats selected has a "pink" color in it and configuration buttons that dont do anything.

Edit: Seems like this is related to MATT, disabling MATT makes it work as intended (still pink overlay on a token when that image is selected), if i can make a very blind guess, probably all the stuff i reported is related to MATT and TVA not working together after MATT got released for v13

I'm also getting this issue, and disabling MATT didn't solve it for me. Not that I could play without either of these T_T. I'll do some experimenting and see what i can narrow down.

Edit 1: I ran with just TVA on, and had the same thing- I'm literally just now, in the process of migrating modules and content to V13, so I think it has more to do with the "old" data from V12. That's my guess, Going to hunt down where the cached user data is and try to delete it.

Edit 2: I created a new world, new NPCs, only TVA and libwrapper turned on. I set my folders to cache files, deleted my old cache, recached my tokens, the only configurations i've made is for the folder where my Tokenizer output is, so just two subfolders, and webp token art.

When I go to share the art of a token, it appears on a completely unrelated token as well.

Edit 3: Pretty certain that the application is reading data from one location, and trying to store it somewhere else, and/or its not actually saving it to the token. I made a macro to remove the token-variant flag, and doing so makes any player connected unable to see any shared or wildcard items (expected result), even after re-sharing the arts (not expected result).

If i can be of any help on resolving this, I'd be glad to help however I can, this addon is crucial to one of my players characters haha

Yeah i totally forgot to update it, it happens even on a clean world, i ended remaking this using an item with Active Effects on them, hope this can be fixed.

Same, seeing as the "old" data, those imported from an adventure i see an Array of portraits inside of the token data flags.token-variants, and there's nothing on new ones, even when inspecting the canvas token output to console, it doesn't seem to be writing the new changes past what the GM user sees/in memory or something (no update call). Not super certain how its working, but at least we can confirm that's the case. I'm open to anybody's work-arounds they find for now. As GM i can search for tokens so it isn't a huge hamper for me, but for my players its a little rough to not have access to their combat modes or alternate expressions. They use that in RP quite a lot.

Workaround for now

Give a user "file browser" permission, not necessarily upload, i have it off. Then you can shift-click the image icon on the token, set flags, set a directory and just move the individual player tokens into that folder. That solves players, DM still has to "deal with it" for now at least. But that's at least something, hope it helps Dymwyrm.

Yeah this issue is plaguing me as a GM and my friend who GM's as well for both SF1e and PF2e systems, fresh or old world there doesn't seem to be any solution we've found aside from the one that really only works for players Zero127 mentioned.

Saving "Shared" doesn't seem to work outside of a single session and then it's shared for all tokens and only until you log out. Would really love to see this resolved
