Drag box missing when zooming in

As shown in the video below, when zooming in the plot pattern, the drag box is missing to indicate the region to be zoomed.

I am running GSAS-II on a Windows machine and I think this behavior applies generally -- I tried two GSAS-II projects and both behaved the same manner, i.e., missing the drag box while zooming in.

Hmmm, I think this is a matplotlib issue. Perhaps we are doing something wrong though.
