SupremeSlicer v1.5.3 Release Notes
Overview
SupremeSlicer has had an update to its documentation meaning that this version is more easily usable by prospective users. The resources folder contains a working install script which will succesfully build the main.spec file into a main.exe. Methods of running the code have been discussed through the README.md file. This version also allows optional use of the vibration function when using either gripper.
Changes
This release has the most up to date README with full documentation on the installation process for installing packages and building the EXE. As well as this, the gripper vibration logic has been updated meaning that the user can change the vibrate flag within the tool of their choice. Changing the flag will allow the user to grip a part with the hard gripper and vibrate the part off the bed. This was previously statically always going to be used, however it is now optional through presence of the 'vibrate' flag. If set to 0, the vibration g-code will not be prepended. If set to 1, the gripper will move to the centre of your part before gripping and vibrating the part off the bed. After this, there will be a z-clearance before a tool change back to your tool of choice for moving the part as previously instructed.
