Issue Details

Steps to reproduce:

1. Follow the manual from the card Stay always protected from the Home tab
2. Tap on Updates button on the Home tab
3. There is a snack Auto-updates may fail
4. Tap on Fix it
5. Tap on Allow
6. Background settings for AdGuard are opened and No restrictions is already chosen
7. Tap on No restrictions
8. You are redirected to Permissions for automatic filter updates

Expected Behavior

All permissions are granted and there is no snack on Updates screen

Actual Behavior

There is still a card Allow AdGuard to run in the background and there is a snack on Updates screen

I have same issue.
In AdGuard 4.9 Stable this issue is not fixed.
I am using HyperOS 2.0.4.0 (Android 15) Redmi Note 14 (4G). And sometimes, AdGuard is killed by system in background. This is very annoying, tbh.

We’ve identified an issue affecting devices running HyperOS, where the Android system API isIgnoringBatteryOptimizations does not work as expected. Even if you manually set the app to “Unrestricted” mode in battery settings, the system still reports that battery optimizations are not disabled.

This appears to be a compatibility issue with the Android APIs on HyperOS. We’ve already reported the problem to Xiaomi and are waiting for clarification or a future fix.
