Can't bind IPv6 on OpenBSD #8621

Open
Open

Description

@2anser

Prerequisites

Platform (OS and CPU architecture)

OpenBSD, AMD64 (aka x86_64)

Installation

GitHub releases or script from README

Setup

On one machine

AdGuard Home version

0.107.79

Action

After installing AdGuard Home it tells me the IP I can use to get to the UI including IPv6, but it works only using IPv4 address.
Using netstat -na | grep LISTEN | grep 3000

I can only see listening on IPv4

tcp 0 0 *.3000 . LISTEN

Same for port 53

netstat -na | grep LISTEN | grep 53
tcp 0 0 *.53 . LISTEN

Changing listening IP to '::' in the .yaml does nothing.

Expected result

It should listen to both IPv4 and IPv6 as it does on other platforms.

Actual result

It listens only on IPv4.

Additional information and/or screenshots

I asked Claude because I have some technical knowledge limits, and it seems that OpenBSD in newer versions doesn't allow applications to open a single socket that listens to both IPv4 and IPv6, they must open two sockets.

    @VsevolodNaumov

    I can reproduce this. I’ll forward it to the dev team.
