Device Maker

A simple integration to generate custom devices in Home Assistant

Install

1. Open Home Assistant and click on the HACS tab
2. Click on the three vertical dots
3. Click Custom Repositories
4. Paste https://github.com/AdarWa/device_maker in the Repository input
5. Select Integration in the type selector
6. Click Add
7. Install the the integration by searching it in HACS
8. You are all set! Continue to Usage.

Click this button to add a custom device after installing the integration

Example Use Cases

• Grouping related entities
• Use custom entites in scenes

Note

This integration only creates the device itself - to add entities to it use the Template integration.
