certificate verify failed errors

Hostname mismatch or IP address mismatch

Amend your certificate if possible or set require_hostname_validation = false.

self signed certificate

The clean solution to this is to import your self-signed certificate into your store of trusted certificates.

Otherwise, see the next paragraph.

Other

Set verify_server_certificates = false and this will disable certificate validation altogether. Use with caution!

Other errors

Double check that base_addr in your configuration file is correct and refers to the right port. The default is not 32400 if you don't specify any, but the one corresponding to the protocol (80 for HTTP, 443 for HTTPS).
