Collaboration between teams in the software development process can be eased if everyone in the company commits to uniform policies for the architecture and the development. The usage of such policies will lead to understandable code that can be easily enhanced by different developers. This advantage allows teams to collaborate better with each other and with external contractors, leading to a more efficient software development process and a faster reaction to changed requirements.

Different tools exist to enforce these policies, for example the static code analysis of Visual Studio and other extensions like ReSharper or StyleCop. These tools can be used to detect flaws in the code as soon as possible. To use the full potential of each tool, a detailed configuration is required which has to be consistent over the whole company.

AIT Apply Company Policy deals with the configuration for the whole team and ensures that the different tools work with each other in an efficient manner. All involved team members are relieved by the task to configure each tool, company-wide policies can be enforced more efficiently and the saved time in the team can be invested in the development.
