This repository contains Zulip's legacy mobile app. We've built a spiffy new Zulip mobile app, which we released to all users this past June:

Zulip’s next-generation app for Android and iOS is now our official mobile app! The new app, powered by Flutter, offers a sleek new design and a faster, smoother experience than the old app [i.e., the one in this repository zulip/zulip-mobile] built on React Native.

The new app's repository is https://github.com/zulip/zulip-flutter .

The Zulip core team's mobile work is focused entirely on the new app, and we generally don't accept further issues or PRs on this legacy app.

This repository for the legacy app will be archived. The reason it isn't archived already is that we're planning to make a triage sweep through this repo's issues to transfer over the ones that are still relevant. That will probably involve adding labels, to mark which issues we've swept through and perhaps what the outcome was. For issues that have user requests on them, I also hope to reply either with the good news that the new app has already fixed the issue or to point to the issue in the new app's tracker. Those operations will require the repo to be unarchived.
