Issues in z/OSMF that surface in Zowe CLI
A user of Zowe CLI is using z/OSMF version (
2.4.0/wlp-1.0.50.cl210320210309-1101
). The user has a special exit that cancels TSO address spaces that are inactive for more than 10 minutes. The user observes that there are message queues created by IZUSRV that are not removed. After some time, all message queues on the z/OS system are used and new Zowe CLI commands fail.Our analysis found the following: The message queues that z/OSMF is creating are for communication between CEA and TSO address spaces. We were not able to reproduce it with the mentioned version of z/OSMF and not with an older version (
2.4.0/wlp-1.0.44.cl200920200820-0913
). On the system where we have the same version, it did not occur because the TSO sessions were not kept around because the CEA parameter RECONSESSIONS is set 0. That parameter is investigated as a workaround.The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
