Integration with z/OS Registration Service

z/OS Registration service is a low level service within z/OS that allows services to register with z/OS and query what services are delivered. It also creates records within the system that can be used to understand what services are actually running and used for the users.

For API Mediation Layer the main reason to explore the integration is to help the customers make sure that they are running only one instance of the API Mediation Layer within their infrastructure.

Open Questions

• Is this spanning across the sysplex?
• Is the setup necessary for using it complex?
• Will we be able to actually use it?
• Will the fact that we are Open-Source be a limitation for us?
