This is an informal place to raise discussions about the CVE Program. I am an active CVE Board member, however this forum is not an official part of the CVE Program.

Note that CVE-CNA Slack exists and is active, generally only available to CNAs.

The intention is that discussions will appropriately influence official CVE Program policy and guidance, however this repository does not constitute official decisions, policy, or guidance.

Posting Guidelines

Before posting a new discussion

1. Look for and read existing, relevant discussions.
2. Consult official CVE Program policy and guidance resources, for example, the CNA Rules.
3. Check CVE Program GitHub repositories for existing issues.
4. Some issues are summarized here.
