Add Git Graph (Source Control Graph)

Yes, one reason I'm trying zed is that vscode struggles with large projects which affects git graph

That would be extremely amazing. Zed is amazing, but git graph is a must-have for everyday use.

I'm usually using Intellij IDEs for programming and vscode just as my git tool just because https://open-vsx.org/extension/mhutchie/git-graph is such a great tool.
Would love something similar in Zed, even as an extension

I'm currently building this in the main repo rather than as an extension, since Zed doesn't provide the required APIs for it yet. Hopefully I'll have an update to share in a few days. First look:

Would a small graph icon help in the commit window, as a shortcut to the git graph window?

In my implementation you can access it using shift + cmd + p currently and searching git graph.

Current status: Everything is working and tested. Added the ability to view details when clicking a row, plus a diff visualizer that shows either a single file or the complete diff depending on whether you click on a specific file or "View Diff." Just a couple more fixes around the contribution guidelines and this should be ready for the pull request.

It's a sorely needed feature with several people like yourself doing great work on trying to get it in. Much appreciated by many Zed users! Hopefully we'll get some news from upstream soon :)
