Is it possible to add a link after each heading that takes you back to the TOC?

Other information

By having a link next to each heading that takes you back to the TOC, it would make jumping around the document much easier for users that read the markdown outside of VSCode, especially for longer documents.

That's interesting.

Personally speaking, I don't think there is an elegant way to add the back-ref links (with only the Markdown syntax). But if you are reading the exported HTML in a browser, you can navigate back to the last position with alt+left.
