👋 Hey, I'm Yubo Cai

I'm a PhD student in Computational Science & System Engineering at MIT LIDS, where I work on bringing optimization theory into combinatorial systems, with applications in multi-agent systems and beyond. Before MIT, I studied at École Polytechnique and the University of Oxford.

I'm fascinated by the interplay between continuous optimization and discrete structures — finding elegant ways to make complex systems work smarter together.
