Hi There!

Data scientist at Prores AS, Chief of AI at Agrari, & Ex-data scientist expert at Asia Pulp and Paper Sinarmas. Working in the mix of machine learning, computer vision, oil and gas, and agriculture.

I have been helping clients (mostly professionals) start their journey in Data Science and Machine Learning and implement them in oil and gas projects. Visit my website.

Research/Interests: deep learning in computer vision, optimization algorithms

πŸ§ͺ Projects

  • Volve Machine Learning - Machine learning implementations on Equinor's Volve oil field and other open-source datasets, with articles in Towards Data Science.
  • DASLab - Distributed acoustic sensing lab of modules and functions developed for fiber-optic research (developed at RITE)
  • Carbon Capture and Storage - Workflows for geophysical simulations for monitoring of underground CO2 storage (developed at CCS Gundih Project)

🌏 Geoscience Repositories

  • PyReservoir - Python utilities for reservoir engineering calculations. PVT analysis, Well Test, Volumetric Mapping, Material Balance, and Decline Curve Analysis.
  • Formation Evaluation - Python utilities for formation evaluation and petrophysical analysis
  • Reservoir Geomechanics - Python worked homework problems from Mark Zoback's Stanford University Course for Reservoir Geomechanics and Unconventional Reservoir Geomechanics.
  • Computational Geophysics - Computational geophysics with Python
  • Open Geoscience Repository - Repository that contains links and tutorials to access open geoscience datasets (SEG Wiki, Geothermal GDR OpenEi, many more)

πŸ’» Educational Resources

Want to start Python? 🐍 I have taught to more than 1,000 students and professionals through many courses with Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and Marietta College in Ohio, US. Please start from this repository.

Python Bootcamp for Geoengineers - All YouTube video links, notebooks, data, and exercises from courses that I have taught with SPE and many more.

Want to solve reservoir engineering cases with Python? I also have tutorial articles in LinkedIn:

πŸ’¬ Contact me

If someone has a brand new, ground-breaking, and fresh idea, probably to collaborate on work together, don't hesitate to contact me.

  • LinkedIn - Let's professionally network and communicate. I actively posted my project bites and tutorials there.
  • ResearchGate - My researches and publications
  • E-mail
  • Flickr - I partly like photography, do you want to have a look at mine?
  • Facebook - Just for fun.
