This is a follow up to the original yPools budget request. Please refer to it and the end of period report: #175

Although we took 8 months longer than expected and lost a member of the team, we delivered 8 out of 9 deliverables from that request.

This Request Period

The main objective is to successfully launch yUSD, the first yPool after yETH.

Based on the outcome, we will consider next steps: either rolling out another yPool or pausing further development to focus on maintenance.

Plan

• Secure bootstrap support from Yearn in terms of dYFI incentives and dedicated liquidity
• Deploy bootstrap contracts
• Launch yUSD website with MOM
• Tease, announce, and build awareness around yUSD with MOM
• Close bootstrap and complete necessary preparations for launch
• Deploy full protocol contracts
• Launch full-mode website with MOM
• Draft documentation with DevDocs
• Monitor and analyze post-launch performance
• Evaluate and consider next steps, and make a recommendation with the next BR

Request period: Nov 10 - Feb 10 2024

Funding

Primary funding will support compensation for contributors and hardware operations.

Financials

• Monthly allocation: 20,000 USD equivalent
• Total request: 60,000 USD equivalent
