Is there any setting for tidal-dl to download FLAC only but no MQA-crap?

Yes their is. If you grab your own authorization bearer and use it for the token you download FLAC not MQA on the highest quality settings IF FLAC is available. some songs still have MQA only. you can get the authorization bearer with a tool like fiddler classic from the tidal desktop app.
