Is there not gonna be a fix for downloading videos off tidal?

I've been waiting to see any update on that and haven't seen anything indicating it's in the works or not, just curious if I should give up waiting for it?

This works well in tidal-dl.exe on Windows.

I particularly like using tidal-dl -l file.txt and having multiple video urls in it. I made a quick tampermonkey script that puts a button on a video page and on click puts all the video links to the clipboard, so I can just keep pasting in the file.txt to download. The downloads are slow (and you should make sure to change util.py to save as .ts) but it does work.

There seem to be some rare places where there are more obscure videos on Tidal, such as Pink Floyd and Waters' and Gilmours' solo stuff but then there are many many things you'd expect to see which aren't there, like the 80s standard that knocked Michael Jackson off the top spot, "Come on Eileen".
Mostly it seems better to just use youtube-dl, unless you've actually found the supposed exclusive video content on tidal. I've yet to!
