For everyone who's contributed to Fair Code — check out DesignHub 🎨
#694
Since you already know your way around contributing to open source, I wanted to share another project of mine: DesignHub — a free, open-source, local-first design and brand toolkit that runs entirely in your browser (no login, no backend, no API keys). Set your brand once (name, logo, colors, fonts, radius) and it generates:
logo variants and a logo pack
business card, stationery, website and app mockups
banners and posts for GitHub, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Product Hunt and YouTube
a full 14-page brand guidelines PDF
design tokens for CSS, Tailwind, React and Vue
It also has a Google Fonts browser, an OKLCH color studio, 200,000+ icons, background/effects generators, an SVG optimizer, and an accessibility lab. Everything stays on your device.
And if you want to contribute — there are 35 open issues with step-by-step instructions, 15 labeled good first issue if you're looking for a first open-source PR. Ideas welcome across the board: social templates, new export formats (Flutter, SwiftUI, Android, Figma Tokens), mockups, background generators, tests, accessibility fixes, docs — designers just as welcome as developers.
No pressure either way — just wanted the people already in the habit of contributing here to know it exists. Thanks again for being part of Fair Code!
