I am working with wxMaxima 23.11.0 on Ubuntu, installed via Flatpak.
A long output causes the display to scroll all the output off the screen except for the last one.
E.g.
for x thru 50 do ldisplay (x) $
generates and displays 50 values of x, and then scrolls all the output off the screen, such that only the final value is displayed.
My advice is to scroll the display such that as much of the output is displayed as possible, with an additional empty cell at the end for the next input.
