wxAstroCapture

The multi-platform software program wxAstroCapture is primarily intended for astronomical use, such as lunar, solar or planetary imaging using webcams. The name wxAstroCapture is short for "Windows linuX Astronomy Capture".

Original home page: http://arnholm.org/astro/software/wxAstroCapture/

wxAstroCapture was originally developed by Martin Burri and Carsten Arnholm, who initially made it available free of charge, then in January 2014 released it as open source (see licence details below) to become a community maintained project on GitHub: https://github.com/wxAstro/wxAstroCapture

The software runs on Windows XP/Vista, Linux Kubuntu/Ubuntu 8.04->10.04, Linux SuSE 10.2 and more. Max OS X is not currently supported.

Current Release

The current release is still the beta wxAstroCapture 1.8-1 from 23 Oct 2010, before the move to GitHub, under the old free but not open licence. This is available from Carsten Arnholm's page: http://arnholm.org/astro/software/wxAstroCapture/
