Hi! I've been going through the 3D Cube tutorial and had a question about the view matrix in Step 3: View Transformation.
The up vector U is defined as (0, 0, -1), which would mean Uz = -1. But in the resulting view matrix, Uz appears to be 0 instead. Shouldn't that entry reflect the -1 from the up vector definition?
I suspect there might be a mix-up in the basis vectors or a mismatch between what's defined and what's implemented.
I'd love to double check this and, if it is a mistake, I'd be happy to open a PR to fix it. Just wanted to confirm here first — is this something worth correcting?
