Same (Chromium, Firefox on Linux). Video player controls don't disappear. They may disappear once after switching to fullscreen, but after I have moved the mouse, they don't disappear again. They may also disappear once after I pause and un-pause with k.

Also the mouse cursor is never hidden.

Thank you for reporting this issue, I was able to reproduce it.

Tested on:
• Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 121.0a1 (2023-10-26) / Firefox Release 119 / Chrome 118.0.5993.71
• Operating System: Windows 10

Notes:

  1. Reproducible on both Firefox Release and Nightly
  2. Not reproducible on Chrome
