I cleared the cache, reinstalled Firefox Beta, and conducted tests without logging into a Firefox account, without installing any add-ons, and with all settings kept at their defaults. Below, you can find a recorded profiler.

@sv-calin Can you take a look using your Android 13 device and Bluetooth headset?

I was able to reproduce it, there's definitely some choppiness/crackling when playing the spelling. (more noticeable for the US version)

image

Tested on:
• Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 121.0a1-20231030164930 / Firefox Release 119.0-20231019122658 / Chrome 118.0.5993.80
• Operating System: Google Pixel 5 (Android 13) - 1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~432 ppi density)
• Bluetooth Headsets: Logitech G435

Notes:

  1. Reproducible on both Firefox Release and Nightly regardless of the ETP status
  2. Not reproducible on Chrome

Moving to Needsdiagnosis.
