We appreciate your report. I was able to reproduce the issue using Firefox Focus (Release and Nightly) and on the latest Firefox Fenix Nightly. The button to expand the articles and see content does not work. At first, it seemed to be an ETP issue, but since changing the ETP settings reloads the page, it was discovered that actually reloading the page fixes the issue:

Notes:

1. Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP.
2. Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Fenix Nightly.
3. Works as expected using Chrome.
4. Reloading the page fixes the issue.
