We appreciate your report. I was not able to reproduce the issue: Tested with: Browser / Version: Firefox Release 116.0.3 (64-bit) @mohsindlb Suggestion: Try clearing cache/data/cookies, disabling add-ons and Ad-blocker (if available) and extensions or use a clean profile, and check again? Thanks @softvision-raul-bucata for your response. One of our customer has issue in browserstack (https://www.browserstack.com/). They were not able to open it in version 100 and above. |
@mohsindlb Since it is a different domain, please advise them to submit a separate report. [inv_35/2023] |
One of our customer using browser stack for testing purpose and it is not working on it. As per browser stack they uses the real devices to run the browsers. |
@mohsindlb Please refer to the above comment I have made. [inv_35/2023] |
@softvision-raul-bucata You did not understand what they said. browserstack is a website which allows developers to test their sites on different browsers in virtual machines. A user tested their site in firefox 116 using browserstack and had this error. Not an error to be reported to browserstack or to do with their site |
@liamengland1 Yes, correct the issue happens when testing with browser stack which provides the access to wide range of browsers which runs on real devices. |
@mohsindlb Thanks for the updated info. So, if I access the provided URL (https://viewer.millicast.com/?streamId=k9Mwad/multiview&muted=true&play=false&pip=false&cast=false&multisource=true&fullscreen=false) directly in a real Mac device, the stream plays. If I access it from Browserstack, from any real device (accessing Browserstack via a Windows Machine or a Mac Machine on any real browser) and simulating Firefox's latest version available in Browserstack, the video does not play for the live stream. It plays when simulating Chrome. This is a bit tricky on the first observations, but I will move the issue and we will see the real cause behind this. [inv_35/2023] |
Just a one addition, it only fails on Simulated FIrefox version 100 and above on Mac OS but it works on Simulated Firefox for Windows (in Browser stack) |
