Brief notes from the call.

Retrospective

Summary in #68 (comment) and following comments. @foolip will close the issue after scanning the discussion once more.

WebDX collaboration

This slide presented, from a deck by @atopal:

Also these goals on a slide:

  • We provide developers with a less fragmented and still thriving web where developers have clear guidance for what modern web development is.
  • Over the long term we achieve that goal by reducing the time to availability across browsers and adoption for the web platform features that developers need most.

@jensimmons stresses that we should continue to take input from anywhere we can find it, and that it wouldn't be great if the group designs a survey which the then consider the source of truth for what developers need.

There was enough interest for a joint meeting, so next step is that @dontcallmedom will arrange that for those who want to participate. (@foolip will share email addressed of the Interop 2022 group)

Viewport test additions

@foolip has confirmed with @andruud we're happy to add the tests.

@jgraham will ask someone at Mozilla.

Test and score updates

Yay, big score improvements for Firefox and Safari!

Investigation effort updates

All 3 efforts are in the same stage, waiting to organize a first meeting. If anyone would like to jump in and help push any of them forward, that would of course be welcome.
