[css-masking-1] The Animation type for clip property is not clear #4618

The animation type for clip in the spec (https://drafts.fxtf.org/css-masking-1/#clip-property) seems to be not clear. The hyper-link for "rectangle" brings me to css transitions. Can someone clearify?

It was removed in 7b816b2, it was

        <li id="animtype-rect">
          <strong>rectangle</strong>: interpolated via the x, y,
          width and height components (treating each as a number).
        </li>
